Caravane Cafe - Essaouira

I cannot praise this restaurant enough, located in a small alley in Essaouira. The food is delicious, but it's the nightly entertainment that truly sets this place apart. I have visited a few times and each experience has been amazing - from the traditional Gnaoua musicians to the firefighters, magicians, and even a Charlie Chaplin impersonator. It is simply magical.

What a wonderful surprise! This restaurant is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. It's a must-visit in Essaouira. The owner greeted us warmly and we had a great time there on several evenings. Thank you again! We enjoyed 6 ti'punch cocktails.

This place is just amazing the food was delicious the music and the vibe are perfect for a romantic dinner and mustafa the server made our night even better he was nice lovely very helpful and attentive plus we spent the whole night joking and laughing with him Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Caravane Café has been recommended to us and we decided to give it a go. After no one replied to our email for a booking we needed to go in person and make one. Service was OK, nothing extraordinary. There was no toilet paper or soap in the bathroom, which we thought was pretty strange for such an expensive place. The food was nicely cooked and delicious, a little bit on the gourmet side and overpriced – no doubt. The atmosphere was really nice and arty. There was entertainment, we had a magician, previously there were people playing with fire, which seems to be changing on a regular base, but you have to pay for it, which no one has mentioned to us. So, all in all mixed feelings and not very impressed!
