Contribuisci feedbackI wasn't sure how to express it for a long time. the striking positive is the very tasty eating and the very friendly staff. I think that pricing is not completely understandable. the menus come with lush portions and are estimated in the raised frame. the main courts, on the other hand, are quite manageable and are quite expensive, rather uninhabited for me. but what is it, it was a beautiful evening for us.
Delicious menu overhauled. There are three different menus (meat, fish, vegetarian) that can be mixed together.
Excellent food 1a quality not only for the eye. Perfect operation, friendly, always in place, but never intrusive. Just perfect. We're coming back
Very delicious dishes. The team and owner super nice and friendly. Small but fine card, which often changes. Not cheap, but reasonable prices for the quality of the products. Very recommended if you want to eat up (but not lifted) in Esslingen.
Nice restaurant in the tranquil Esslingen with unusual dishes and beautiful ambience. On the way... a praise to the kitchen. The food is really great. Interesting combinations of ingredients that harmonize very pleasant and varied. The Posthörnle is very nice in the pedestrian area on the edge of the Esslinger Old Town and is easily accessible from the train station. A garage is also 100 meters away. The restaurant is very welcoming and friendly from the outside. You can also sit outside at small tables. The size of the shop is optimal and between the tables is sufficient distance. Overall really a nice shop with delicious food! ABER: The service was unfortunately not according to the price level and not authentic. She wasn't really motivated and enthusiastic about her job. In between a forced smile unfortunately does not bring much. I critique very uncontrollably (which can be seen from my other reviews). Unfortunately, it has to be addressed in this case because it deteriorates the overall impression of the restaurant. To the question of the difference between two types of wine, it could not provide satisfactory information. But this is now really a must to be expected! Greeting from the kitchen was some bread and a tiny chop of pepper butter. Both were tasty, only from the crowd, measured on one to two people rather than for five! At the above-average price level, I really would have expected a fancy amuse gueule, which is served individually. In the upscale kitchen, that is, for my feeling, just one. The selected white wine was perfectly cooled, but served well too early in front of the main dish. I like to come back because the food was really delicious. However, I would expect a little more for my money and would be happy if there was something to change in the future.
