Planete Ocean - Étaples

We've been here for lunch for a few years. Normally we are very satisfied, which is why we come back, but this time we were very disappointed. The service was very slow and they had to be reminded... to reserve the bottle of wine we ordered. The self-service starters were fine, but the fish and chips we ordered were very standard. Not only did it come a long time, but when it arrived, it was cooked and dry. We were convinced that it was heated again. Not to enjoy. The young waiter did his best, but he was unskilled and left two dirty knives on my lap. When I paid the bill and reported our dissatisfaction, the young lady was not interested at all and I doubt if she reported our comments. Will not go back next year.

Fresh from Le Tunnel, we enjoyed a very nice first lunch in France at our family weekend. Excellent Moule Frites. Nice staff. We sat on the balcony overlooking the river.

Our first visit over two years was a happy occasion. The food is as good as ever and the very young team at the service on Friday we visited was friendly and efficient. My fish soup and burgers were excellent and my wife's smoked salmon and fish and chips were perfect. We look forward to many more visits to the brasserie of our twin city with a view.

Great meal, great team. Very welcoming. Herring tatin sublime, carbonnade excellent and great desserts.

Been here a few times now for lunch with friends. The quality of the food, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff never cease to impress every time. The food is Yummy !
