I mean, it breaks her brain for a moment with each swallow, it's so incredibly delicious. the Loco sauce is also very tasty, complex and worth ordering each time. admitted, I'll almost never use them as condiments, because I'll drink everything at the end. the green sauce, red sauce, salsa and chile paste are also homemade and fantastic. in the rule we get the filled mushrooms and a loco pork plate (we ask lean meat), but we really have the Queso-birria tacos (which we recently discovered and are not yet displayed on the royal menu). Non-sensic, maybe even flirting well with tear-of-joy. they come to drink with birria broth, uh, I mean dive. I was informed that they will update the menu soon, and I can't wait to try what happens. please go and get some love from poco loco. they are a very welcoming family that is proud of their recipes. we long for her wonderful, delicious food. I really hope they enjoy it as much as we do.
Got the birria tacos last night. I was really excited to try these and thought I'd get at least 3 tacos for the $11 tip. I got two small tacos and the beef broth for dipping. It had good flavor but paying $13 for two tacos is highway robbery. If you're only going to give two tacos, even if kind speciality tacos, it shouldn't be more than $8 or $4/taco (w/o tip). I won't eat there again now, due to the prices and quantity of food. I should've taken a picture.
I don't know what to say that won't set your expectations too high before you eat here... But OMG this place is fantastic. I had the Jalapeno Poppers and the Asada Torta. One of the few places I wish I could try every item on the menu in a single sitting. If you think no place can be this good without some draw-back, I'll offer one: Chili-heads won't find their spicy food too hot. But the flavor and quality make up for not packing a punch with the heat.
Really good tacos in a location you probably already drive by while hungry. There is a covered eating area in the back, so don't be afraid to have a taco on a rainy winter day even.
Poco Loco did not disappoint. Easily one of the best Mexican food places I’ve been to in the area. The food is amazing and I will definitely be coming back. Fair pricing as well. Thank you for such a great meal!
