Place opened almost 20 years ago and prices and portions have hardly changed! Eating is fantastic for what it is.
General portions, I am always stuffed to half, so it is basically like getting 2 meals. I just did cabbage as a side, just love. It is not high, but if you are in the mood to stuff your face to some ingenious Korean/teriyaki type stuff, it is definitely worth a try.
The quantities of food are very generous here and everything is very well seasoned. The price for quantity and quality definitely makes this a bargain. It's great for lunch. They usually have leftovers for dinner. Stop by and try her Teryaki Chicken!
Not fancy, very low-key, geared towards students and working stiffs. Place is a little tricky to get into as their parking space only has room for about 4 vehicles, including 1 for disabled patrons, and traffic can be challenging along Broadway. It's also on a dead end alley, so you can't go all the way through to the next street. However, if you go during less busy times, there's usually a place to land. The Asian (Korean? food is great and portions large. There are around 20 menu items-posted on the wall, with photos of the dish, and they always have daily specials. My favorite is the Terriyaki Chicken, over white rice, with cabbage on the side. The portion is so huge, I usually have 1/2 the first day and the rest the next day. I always take out containers of their sweet/semi-hot sauce, too. Yum! The prices average $6-8, so it's very affordable. Inside seating is limited, along a counter facing the window, so take-out is best. You can usually watch sports on their TV while you wait, or read a Eugene Weekly; wait is usually only 5-10 mins. Call ahead, though, and it will be ready by the time you arrive. Open every day from 11am to 10pm, except Sundays.
