The Kozy - Eugene

I visited this restaurant with a friend for the first time, and we were really impressed! The food was excellent. My 93-year-old mother has sampled chicken fried steak at various restaurants, and she thinks this one is the best (though she can be quite particular!). The service was both friendly and professional. We’ve definitely found a new favorite spot!

Classic American comfort food that's well-prepared. My friend's roasted chicken was so large that it wouldn't even fit on the plate. I opted for a dish from the lighter menu, which was just the right portion for me. The baked potato was the best we've had in months—soft and creamy!

The food was excellent and served quickly. The country fried steak was the best I've had in the area, and I've tried it at many different places. The meatloaf melt was also impressive, with a generous portion. The meatloaf itself was moist and cooked to perfection. Everything was seasoned just right. The service was friendly and the food arrived promptly. I was surprised that there weren't more customers. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning to try more dishes next time.

I ate here about a dozen times. I love it. Good prices, quantity and quality. I don't know what the deal is with the reports of bad service, I always had a good service. I brought my family and friends there and they always made us feel like family. If you want or need something like sitting or more coffee, just getting their attention and they will do what you need.

Our waitress was very nice and helpful, our food was yummy and fair priced. This place is wonderful for a filling breakfast that isn't just grease. It was a good quality meal that wasn't overpriced, which is rare nowadays. Will definitely come back soon!
