Bavarian Inn Lodge - EUREKA SPRINGS

Very clean and clean German/Czech restaurant. Great tasting with European peculiarities. My Goulash was fantastic that my son had changed his order just to enjoy his own record. So was the German chocolate dessert. Very courteous and respectful staff who knows the label and act accordingly. No cheaper place, but in any case you get what you paid. There is also a lodge with pool, fireplace and other amenities along with a small gift shop. I was very impressed.

Really interesting menu and very retro, discard type of interior design. Serving an eclectic amount of locals, tourists and bikers. Very cool. Eating is good. Not super savory or spicy, but quite authentic. Large parts. Good value for money.

The restaurant looks beautifully decorated with a colonial vibe and small tables. We're our food here. The server was very well trained. We started with soup soup. The portion size was decent for an appetizer. They delivered some house baked rye bread and dice of butter. The breads were decent. For the leading actor I went with the carving and my husband ordered the Bavarian plate. The scavenger was good, but for my Indian taste buds it was a little less salty, but nothing to complain. The Bavarian plate was nice and heavy with meat and potato pancakes etc. The food was pretty decent. I took a cup of coffee that they refilled later. The coffee was very simple, just like a gas station. Overall we liked the place. It was a busy dinner hour at that time.

I'm trying the Goulash, it was delicious. You have a variety of German beers The desserts (German chocolate cake and cheesecake) were so good. Beautiful and quiet ambience. The service was excellent.

I had been wanting to visit the Bavarian Inn Restaurant for a long time and finally got the chance a couple days ago. We had a wonderful experience. My boyfriend had a beer that he had tried before in Germany and enjoyed I think it was called Bitbauer? We tried the Hungarian plate, Bavarian plate, and weiner schnitzel. All of our food was excellent but I have to say the best part was dessert. I just cannot stop thinking about the German chocolate cake. It was so good I am writing this review in the middle of the night because it’s the only thing I can think about 2 days later. Seriously if it’s the only thing you do, go there and get that cake. You will not regret it. If my words aren’t convincing enough browse my photos and see how great that cake looks then imagine eating it. They are not paying me to say this. The cake really was just that good. (Hungarian plate not pictured because we ate it too quickly)
