Madaket Harbor Cruise - Eureka

We enjoyed this tour and would recommend it. Very informative history of Humboldt Bay. We are bird guards and we have noticed some mistakes from the captain that identify birds. She continued to refer to the “joint oret” instead of the “big ogre”. She pointed to a group of murdered goddesses and called them wills. Willets are all gray with a 3” black bill. Marbled Godwits are spun brown with a 6” pink and black bill. Not everyone is really in birds, and we fully understand. It was a pleasant time.

The staff was friendly. All from the ticket desk to the captain, the crew were great. Tour was very informative and funny. If you want a small history of the area, I would highly recommend this boat tour.

I really enjoyed this cruise. The captain was wonderful, and she gave us history and information about everything we happened. I especially enjoyed seeing the birds.
