I highly recommend dining here if you’re in search of an authentic Mexican restaurant experience reminiscent of Southern California. I tried the carne asada taco and the carnitas combination plate, and the carne asada taco was the best I’ve had here in Humboldt.
On my first visit, I had the Enchiladas Michiocanas, which were delicious. I returned for a second time and tried the tacos, getting four on homemade tortillas—two with pollen and two al pastor. They were served hot and in generous portions. The aromas in this place are incredible, and the staff is super friendly. It's truly an authentic taqueria. I can't wait to come back!
I absolutely love this taquería! The aromas are incredibly fresh, traditional, and flavorful. I'm a big fan of both their green salsas, whether I'm having them with tacos or another dish. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and cozy. They also offer some great vegetarian options, and the potato tacos are fantastic. This restaurant is perfect for adventurous eaters seeking delicious, traditional dishes. Just be prepared to have a bit of patience, as good food takes time to prepare properly. Give it a try soon! The tacos and salsa are waiting for you!
We really liked this place. We spent a few years in Mexico, and missed things like dishes served with cabbage and crema, not salad, and real handmade tortillas. Their handmade tortillas are fresh and a pleasure in the tongue. So hot it was minutes before I could pick them up. That's fresh. They came with my Chile Verde, excellent Verde sauce and so delicate pork. Beans are not salted add your own. My husband had a super Burrito with lengua (Togue) also very good. Although I took part in my Chile Verde at home, we also shared the house that was made flan. Much more taste than commercial flan. Topped with whipped cream and cherry standing right on my husband's alley. Loved the Tomatillo sauce on the table, beware of the thick Chile sauce, it crawl on you for the murder. We will definitely come back. Portion size was good, I mean, a super Burrito is the same everywhere, really. Oh, Lengua was a little more expensive.
Taquitos de papas were a very tasty vegetarian option. Staff was very friendly and polite. Quick service, though I was the only person there at the time. The whole grilled jalapeno was a nice garnish and very tasty.
