Reprise Coffee Roasters - Evanston

I ordered a bunch of coffee beans from their website but they never shipped them. I tried contacting this company multiple times by phone and email but they do not respond.

The wifi sucks. It takes you offline every 30 minutes. To use bathroom you need to ask for a key. High table/chair. The only comfortable couch is impractically placed next to a long table.

Like all things fine (wine, art, dining, etc. , sometimes craft coffee requires patience and/or multiple visits to develop a proper appreciation.I didn 't really get Reprise during my first visit, but during my second visit the Community (medium roast coffee seemed to open my senses and it all came together the people, the music, the plants, the art(istry , the aesthetics the overall atmosphere. A must try if you 're into craft coffee or fine goods on a whole.

Reprise is probably the highest quality coffee here in town truly specializing in specialty exotic coffee. HOWEVER, the cold brew I drank was already oxidized. If I'm paying $5+ for cold brew from a place that is supposed to know what real specialty coffee is I sure hope they don't serve old, oxidized coffee.Personally, I'd rather buy the beans and use my kyoto drip to make it myself ensuring it's not oxidized. It's disappointing. I'm from Medellin, Colombia and the closest cafe to the quality we have in Colombia serves oxidized coffee.

Honestly, the best place in Evanston to get coffee.Great drinks with balanced flavor. Friendly staff. Chill environment. Good music. Great paintings on the walls (whoever the artist is keep it up.
