Fidel's Bourbon Cigar - Evansville

When we arrived, we were seated in the bar area and informed that we would be paying upfront, after which the bartender would bring us our drinks. We paid $72 for three buffet meals, but unfortunately, most of the food, except for the potato maize, was cold. The quality was disappointing, but we were hungry, so we went ahead and ate. My husband ended up having to go to the bar to get our drinks since no one came to attend to us. I approached the manager to express my concerns about the cold food, but all I received was an apology, with no effort made to rectify the situation. One staff member did say, "Mama, we'll do it right," but nothing improved. I also requested more macaroni and cheese and was told that another batch was on its way, but we never received it, nor did anyone come to inform us when it was available. In hindsight, I should have trusted my instincts and gone to Cracker Barrel instead. This experience was definitely not worth the trip or the money spent.

Very relaxed atmosphere. They offer an excellent variety of beverages, along with an expanding selection of cigars. The staff is attentive while still giving you space. Our server, Audrey, was fantastic and really helpful. I will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere to say about the only great thing. Had 4 bartenders, maybe 20 people in the line and over 30 minutes to get to the bar to place an order. Absolutely the slowest service at a bar I saw.

Chicken fried chicken with hush puppies and creamed corn. The breading fell off the chicken, which was a fat breast yet you only get one piece with 3 high puppies (2 hush puppies came from fish/chips order) and a small dish of corn.

One of my favorite places to go to in town! Great atmosphere and the staff is excellent! Have a good cigar selection! Only thing it needs is some skee ball tables.
