Panera Bread - Evansville

This is a fantastic spot for a cup of coffee and a pastry. The service is average; some of the staff seem to spend more time chatting than attending to customers. However, once you receive your order, everything is just fine.

The food was enjoyable, but there were just two of us. We each ordered a bowl of soup and a large tea. With the tip included, our total came to nearly $30. I feel that the prices have become excessively high.

The food is outstanding! The flavor combinations in their soups, salads, and sandwiches are simply incredible. Plus, there is handicapped-accessible parking and entrances available.

Food was good, highly caffeinated cold drinks are delightful but pricey!

This was actually my first time going to Panera Bread! I ordered A Chicken Green Goddess Caprese Melt, My mom ordered a Grilled Cheese and I got a free Chocolate Croissant for signing up for the Panera Bread App, and Mom got a Pecan Braid! We got our order to go!! Well I get home (which is 20 miles away) open my sandwich and there was absolutely NO chicken on it!!! I was NOT happy! So I called and they were super nice about everything and put my name on the customer Log to get a free Entire on my next visit! So I did appreciate how they handled the mistake! The Chocolate Croissant was delicious anyways!! And even without the chicken the sandwich had a lot of flavor! The only issue I didn 't care for was the bread was SO hard!! I think next time I will ask if I can get it on chibatta bread instead! So can 't wait to try it WITH the chicken!! Due to being in Kidney Failure I eat clean food which is just w/o any preservatives or any antibiotics. So I do appreciate having a fast food place to eat that offers this type of food choices! Even with the mistake I will definitely go back! They just need to pay more attention to detail when making the sandwiches and I will definitely check my sandwich B4 making that drive back home!! If it wasn 't for this mistake I would had given them more stars!
