Barney's Pastrami - Everett

You can just tell. When you arrive 10 minutes before opening and see a crowd of 10 people waiting outside (including 5 construction workers), you know this place is going to be great.

Excellent! I visited today (12/24/2010) and the pastrami sandwich was outstanding. I also really enjoyed the pickles. I will definitely be back. I've lived in the area for years, and I only wish I had discovered this place sooner!

Pastrami just how it should be! Is it the best pastrami I've ever had? Maybe not the absolute best, but it's definitely the best I've had in Everett for lunch, and it was served to me in under a minute! I decided to go for the half-pound special ($7.99), which came with mustard and pickle on a fantastic hoagie roll. It was more than enough to share between two people for lunch. To heck with my coworkers who wouldn't join me; I went for a food coma and ended up eating about 90% of it without sharing! It might be a bit of a drive for me, but I plan on coming back regularly. Forget that $5 footlong—real meat done right at Barney's is absolutely worth spending a few extra bucks.

Only place I know to get a 'GREAT ' Hot Pastrami Sandwich1/2 lb for like $7

I am not a fan of pastrami and never have been.....Until I came here. The pastrami sandwich is the best I have EVER had and now I will only eat Barney's pastrami sandwich. If you want a BIG juicy and amazing pastrami sandwich this is the place for you. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It's a one man show and has been since the day that it opened many years ago.
