Bob's Burgers Brew - Everett

I dined at this restaurant on a bustling Friday evening. Although it took the staff a bit longer to take my order, I could tell they were quite busy. They were apologetic and friendly, which made for a pleasant experience. I opted for the Cajun Gourmet Chicken Burger, accompanied by a Green Salad with Italian dressing. The food was of high quality, tasty, and quite filling; for those with a hearty appetite, you can choose either fries or potato salad as a side. The green salad was particularly fresh. As someone who is mindful of calories, I appreciated that the burger was relatively low in calories but high in protein. This trendy restaurant and sports bar offers a great selection on the menu, is conveniently located, and has plenty of parking. My bill totaled just over $17, and with the tip, it came to $21. I highly recommend checking it out!

However, I initially gave this place a 3-star rating, but I've downgraded it to 1 star. Less than 5 minutes after writing my review, I received the bill and saw that they charged me $6 and $7 for the NYF root beer and a Heineken, despite the menu clearly stating they were both $5.50. I brought this to the waitress's attention, and she responded, "Well, our prices just changed..." I asked if she could honor the listed prices, and she said she would check. Although she applied our coupon, the drink prices remained unchanged. When I inquired again, she informed me, "We just changed the price last week, so..." While I don't blame our waitress for this issue, the restaurant needs to fix their menus or honor the prices they advertise. It shouldn't feel like a guessing game when it comes to the bill. Additionally, there was nowhere on the drink menu indicating that prices could change, which is misleading. It's frustrating to see one price and then be charged another without any warning. Either update your menus accordingly or stick to the prices advertised. It’s quite rude.

Update: The food was excellent—fresh and served hot. Aside from the waitress not checking in on water refills and similar needs, everything was great. It was quite busy, but the staff was friendly and professional.

Alex is the most amazing bartender ever! We are served our regular orders right after being seated! He always has great stories as well as food recommendations!!

Always a great experience! I can never remember his name, but the bartender there is great! Always remembers what we order, is attentive, friendly, all the things. I go at least once a month with a friend and I will keep going back.
