Kyoto Japanese Steak House - Everett

We really enjoyed our dinner experience and believe everyone should try this at least once in their lifetime! We took our son here for his birthday celebration. While the hoods and the edges of the cooking surfaces could use a bit of cleaning, and the service was a little slow, we still had a great time. Our chef was wonderful, and we didn't have to wait long for drink refills. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. They were quite busy while we were there, but the team worked hard to meet the needs of all the guests. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Although this isn't something we can do frequently, we will definitely be returning.

I have dined here multiple times and have always enjoyed the experience. I ordered the filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection. My husband was also very pleased with his meal. We're going back tonight to celebrate our son's 15th birthday, and I'm looking forward to another fantastic experience with delicious food!

I think the negative reviews here are a bit overstated. I've been coming to this restaurant for years and I've never had a truly "bad" meal. Sure, the seafood may have been slightly overcooked once or twice, but that's no big deal. A tip: avoid going on Friday or Saturday nights when they’re extremely busy (which is a good sign, right?) and don't expect everything to be perfect—think about it, that's unrealistic. They were also understaffed for a while about a year ago, which likely contributed to some of the negative feedback. I find it hard to believe that food prepared on a large griddle could ever be "soaked in oil," and given their popularity, I doubt they'll be closing their doors anytime soon. Let’s keep things in perspective, folks. In short: this place is fantastic and comes highly recommended by a LOT of people!

The food is incredible, just like always! This is one of our favorite places to dine. Be sure to try the fried rice and the ginger dressing. I do wish they offered noodles on the dinner menu, though...

The cooking and entertainment here are simply fantastic. I’m not sure how they manage it, but when they prepare the eggs and mix them into the rice, it’s just wonderful. Their steak, cooked medium rare, is also amazing…
