Mai Gai - Everton Park

First time attending the restaurant with friends we were 100% happy with the service and food.

Deep fried fish was gorgeous. Duck pancakes were delicious, loved my Cosmo Excellent service, he was able to run the restaurant with the skill of an experienced professional which makes the difference.

Disappointing experience. Such a great and convenient location overshadowed by poorly tasting food and inexperienced staff. To add to the evening one of the meals had a shard of plastic in it. Which was met with a shrug of the shoulders by the restaurant staff. Very disappointing.

Duck pancakes came out cold. Staff unsure what drinks they had carried over from the bar. Staff brought over mains before entrees were finished or clearing the table to be able to fit the next meal on the table. Staff unsure about dietary requirements on the menu then mention listed GFO weren’t able to be done. Staff messed up the order. Pad Thai was good. Very large portion with only three pieces of chicken.
