Beijing Oriental Express - Exeter

Once again a top class meal Went for steak which I don’t normally do but was recommended by a dear friend Juicy and so tender fell off the fork Ordered it and it was delivered within half an hour Well done best Chinese in St Thomas

Food was shocking!! Dry chicken balls overcooked batter,beef curry came without rice,onions were burnt mixed with raw onions,beef over cooked.chips cooked twice tasted dry,prawn rice also dry overcooked and was tasteless!! They've hacked up the prices and the service was poor,he didn't even speak to say thankyou! Hard earned money wasted on very poor food!!

I am shocked by the increase in prices at this restaurant. I understand the current energy situation, but I ordered from a menu that was only a few months old and had already been raised in price. The chicken we brought home was tough, leading me to believe this was a case of pure greed. In the future, we will be taking our business to the local Wan's restaurant, as they have always provided good food at reasonable prices. It's disappointing, as we have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant.

Absolutely shocking service. Always longer wait then promised and things always missing. Always seem to say the customer is wrong and never take ownership for when they mess up. Tonight wait 90 minutes for food that was meant to be 45 minutes, only for the order to be messed up sent egg fried rice but no curry. Call to say the curry is missing to be told that I didnt order it and that I was the one in the wrong. I know I ordered the curry, but apparently they didn't add it to the order, not even sure if they have charged me for it as do not have a receipt. Said they could send me my curry to go with rice if i paid for it again but would be a 45 minutes and I would have to pay delivery charge (even though they messed up). Never ordering off them again, I would recommend staying away.

About £2 extra for cheese on chips, not sure what was paid for here? Had to add cheese ourselves! Rest of the food was decent
