Pig And Pallet - Exeter

I live locally and hadn't been to Pig and Pallet in a couple of years, but I always remembered it being very good. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time. The food was very average and extremely overpriced. The nachos starter was £9.99 for a small portion with minimal toppings, similar to those at Wetherspoons. My partner ordered the burger, which was very small for the price and came with no sides - you had to order chips separately. However, the price for chips with chicken and cheese was £9.95 for a very small portion with only around 20 chips. I opted for a lime and soda as the wine was also outrageously expensive, between £10-£13 for just one large glass. We don't mind spending money on food, but only if it's worth it. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and feel that the prices were too high for what was offered. The service, on the other hand, was great with friendly and lovely waitstaff.

Came to Topsham for a trip out and found the most amazing restaurant....the friendly staff, choice of beer and the FOOD just wow. Well done what a great place loved it. We will be back.
