Steaks N Sushi - Exeter

Cozy atmosphere, amazing eating and overall a beautiful experience. if they visit more exeter for only one day or meet friends, this is the place to be.

I and my so came to the lunch service and were kindly greeted and sitting. we both had the 6-speed-court, with me the sushi-plate and my partner with pigtail-curry. our server was very honest and told my so that she was too full with the set menu and a bowl of rammen, and right they were! the food was delicious, bought in good time and very varied. the interieur was pleasant enough and the prices were very good sushi/sashimi and Japanese food in general is not cheap, but at £70 (inc tip) we have the feeling it was a great value for money. we visit again. for rams next time! also the place was very much full and with regular.

Wow! if they are preparing for the freshest fish/Seafood veg to glorify the taste and texture this Japanese restaurant is a must! lachs gurken avocado rolle was of a very decent size. fish was super damp and succulent, which was well supplemented with the fresh of the gurke and the saw of the avo. arrogant with teriyaki prawns was blown. it was not overloaded with the sauce (see sugar), but the whole combo or rice, crispy salate, sauce and the klempner prawns gently marinated in some seasoning amazing! I have never tried such an intelligently balanced dish in other Asian kitchen places. in this Japanese restaurant, everything seems to be made in a wise way to complicate the fresh of fish and seafood instead of hiding it behind tones of sauces and seasoned. it would be rude not to mention the service. in front of the house is the most polite and tenderly welcoming person ideal! recommend this place and look forward to being back.

Really excellent eating great service. the best restaurant in exeter. it is in another league for everything you can find in the city. plan to go somewhere something special to forget the chain like ivy. go here, you won't be disappointed! 5*

Four of us tried Steaks N Sushi out for dinner during our staycation in Exeter/Devon (rather than our original planned holiday of Japan) and we loved this restaurant! The hotpot was a great sharing dish and sushi selection was lovely. Staff were friendly and made sure they provided us with lots of information on menu and dishes. Menu was extensive and pricing was very good value for money!
