The Local - Fallston

This restaurant is quite inconsistent for me. I've enjoyed some fantastic meals, but I've also had some disappointing experiences, and a few that were just okay. Unfortunately, tonight didn't go well. I tried several items from their new menu: the chili, chicken and waffles, the Chai Time drink, and the seasonal crème brûlée. The chili was just average. Unfortunately, the chicken and waffles were really bad; the gravy was terrible. I think they would have been better with syrup or cranberry chutney. On a positive note, the drink and dessert were quite good. Overall, I don't believe the quality of the food justifies its prices.

Incredible! I completely fell in love with this place. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is delightful. Their menu changes, and I’m really looking forward to trying their fall selections. I highly recommend it!

The staff was incredibly accommodating to our large and fluctuating group. We were in town for a family gathering, and the team was extremely kind. The food was amazing—truly spectacular. The ambiance is a bit dim, but that adds to the vibe. There's a great selection of drinks, and the menu is sure to please everyone. Service: Dine-in. Meal type: Brunch.

While the food was good, it was not over the top as I expected from a $200 meal. The Sea Bass was overpowered by the Chorizo in my dish and there was no lump crab meat in my husband's crab cakes. On the other hand the chocolate souffle for dessert was very good. Service was acceptable, but the place felt cramped. This was our second time here; both times were to celebrate special occasions. Our meals were excellent on our first visit, although the service was horrible. We thought we would give it another try this time around. I am sad to say that we likely will seek another establishment to celebrate in the future.

Hey Zack, I just wanted you to know we are at The Local Fallston right now and our waitress Kate is doing a fabulous job. We just had Kyle present our beef Wellington at the table which is our favorite. These are two people you have to be proud of, they are doing you justice without you being here.
