Didn't expect to have a special dining experience as just wanted to eat some food and get to bed for next day work BUT a warm welcome and big smile of Jordan, made me feel better, she recommended a seafood dish with linguine, and I really liked the taste, besides having fresh seafood in my plate, Also ,General Manager welcomed me and checked everything. Jordan went an extra mile and shared a list of good restaurants in the area to me so I can try as I'm not from the hood, she's very kind and nice. I strongly recommend you to try their Tiramisu as well.
My wife and I came hungry for Italian. I always order spaghetti and meatballs thinking a good Italian restaurant has to do simple in good fashion. Here...not so much. I had to ask for extra sauce as my spaghetti was somewhat dry (see picture). The flavor was ok but not great better than Sammio's. The meatballs tasted ok and the portion was plentiful. My wife ordered the lasagna. She said is was tasty but not hot all the way through. She took some of my extra sauce to pour over her lasagna as she likes to dip her garlic knots in it. Speaking of the garlic knots, they were very good and a good portion for the 2 of us. Our meals came with salad. My Caesar salad came with way too much Parmesan cheese on top. On a separate note, the door to the kitchen needs some serious WD 40. Lol On another note, the owner should not have conversations about employees in the presence of customers.
I will never go back to this location. It's nothing like the downtown location. I was so upset that I couldn't even enjoy lunch due to the hair found on my fries and the sandwich being so tough. The server had a good attitude while helping us and a party of 6-8 during lunch. The place was completely empty with the exception of the other party. Now I understand why. On the lunch menu the sandwiches are $8 but we were charged $10 for each in addition to the cost of another drink for every time the server offered refills. She didn't make the rules therefore she still got her 15% tip.
Was told my order would take 20-30 minutes to be ready. I arrived 35 minutes after ordering and the pizzas still were not ready. Both pizzas sat flat on the ride home, nearly all the sauce slid off of hers. My wife ordered a large margarita, undercooked. As you can see in the photo. The dough used tastes like cardboard. She literally cried because her dinner was so awful. Having tried true Italian pizza in Italy, I can say this doesn't taste like Italian pizza at all. Also, you don't pay 17$ for a large pizza in Italy!
We are from out of town and we were visiting family in town for the week. We were going to go to Annabelles across the street but it was closed so we decided to try Piero's Italian bistro I can tell you I was not disappointed. I had the Bistecca Roma and it was some of the best pasta I've had in years. The atmosphere was nice. I would have to say that our server was terrible she rarely checked up on the table we constantly had to call her over to clear the table once we were done eating to get refills on drinks etc. however I would say that the food made up for her shortfall. Next time we are in town I look forward to going back and trying more dishes as the one we had was superb. Portions were large. Comes with salad and fresh bread knots (for the table). Slightly more pricy than across the street but we'll worth it.
