They didn’t greet me or say anything friendly, which gave the impression that they were unwilling to take my order. I'm not sure what I did to cause this, but the service was extremely poor. I believe there should be some training or guidelines on handling phone orders, as this experience was quite disappointing.
Absolutely not! This was the worst fried chicken I've ever had. I usually love this franchise, but this specific location really fell short. I ordered the half and half for $34.68, and every piece was overcooked to a brownish color. If you've never had the pleasure of chewing on rubber, I suggest you give this place a try—you won't be disappointed. It also seemed like they forgot to add salt, as the chicken was both bland and rubbery. Honestly, your local KFC does a much better job for half the price. This location does not live up to the quality you'd expect from a Korean-style fried chicken franchise. I gave it two stars, and that’s only for the nice interior decor.
I’m conflicted about this restaurant. It’s situated in a rather peculiar location right next to what seems to be an abandoned grocery store that has turned into a dental office, complete with a deserted parking lot. At first glance, I thought this BBQ place might be permanently closed. Despite my initial reluctance, I decided to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-kept the restaurant was. The host, who seemed a bit bored, welcomed me promptly as I placed my order for a half-and-half with steamed rice, which came to $22—yikes! I decided to tip generously out of sympathy for the situation. The food was delicious and fresh—definitely the best fried chicken I've had outside of Publix in Florida. I can’t help but wonder why the place is often so empty; it really deserves a better location.
I dropped in for a quick bite and was impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, even though it’s a bit hidden among other Korean eateries. After the waiter detailed the various frying methods, I opted for the golden fry and paired it with the honey garlic sauce. The chicken had a great crunch and a fresh taste. The cheese balls were wonderful! On the other hand, the fries could use some improvement. The drink options were pretty basic, especially for 2023. I spent $30 on a 9-piece meal, fries, and a fountain drink, which I found to be reasonable. I would definitely be willing to return!
I was unaware of this hidden gem tucked away in a quiet strip mall, but I'm so glad I decided to check it out! I ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken, Secret Sauce Chicken, fries, and cheese balls, and everything was absolutely amazing! The sauce was perfect, and the chicken had a wonderfully crispy coating with a fantastic burst of flavor. The cheese balls were rich and delicious. The fries were good but could use a bit more crispiness. Overall, this place has quickly become my new favorite spot for chicken!
