Yoko's Teriyaki Bistro - Federal Way

My partner and I were in the mood to try something different, so we decided to check out a local teriyaki restaurant. The menu was typical, but I was pleased to see they had a house special that offered a generous portion of food for $20. We ultimately decided on the Kung Pao chicken, which had a moderate level of spiciness. I was hoping for a bit more heat, especially considering the menu described it as "Hot Spicy." We also ordered a couple of egg rolls, but I would advise against them in the future. Despite these small disappointments, we plan on returning to try the General Tso's chicken next time. The service was efficient, especially for a busy evening. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The teriyaki at this restaurant is just okay, but they don't include any sides like soy sauce unless you specifically ask for them - and then they charge you for it. If you're ordering for pickup, be aware that they may not include soy sauce in your order. We typically order from other restaurants that are more generous with their portions, especially considering the amount we spend on a dinner. This is just my own personal preference, but it's something to consider.

This is definitely the top teriyaki spot in Washington. Whenever I'm in the area, I have to stop by for some teriyaki. Their garlic sauce is incredible. The service is fast, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend it!

Husband order a combo orange chicken and Chow main, orange chicken was over fried and the sauce was cheaply made and tasted very sour the chow main was flavorless. I order a yakisoba the chicken in it tasted old and flavorless, it was a disappointment because I have order chicken teriyaki before and it was really good.

I ordered the chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki combo and it tasted like the meat portions had been reheated. This was unexpected because I had ordered the same combo a few weeks ago and the food was fresh and delicious. While I understand that everyone has off days, this experience has made me reconsider ordering from this restaurant again.
