Rancherito's Mexican Food - Fergus

Out of all the Rancherito's, the Roy location has the best food.

The food is under average but about what you'd expect from a fast food Mexican-American restaurant. Proteins are always either overcooked and extremely dry or are poor quality cuts with far too much unrendered fat that is not enjoyable to chew on. What I have found I enjoy most is the darker red sauce (that you can only get if you walk inside the restaurant for some reason) and surprisingly enough the refried beans. Everything else is not great. Fries are flaccid and soggy, the guacamole is generally just not that good probably because it's almost never made fresh or replaced when it should be, given limes that are going bad, quality of cheese used is Del Taco level, potatoes in breakfast burritos aren't season at all and very dry, ect. The service is also very subpar. If I request a slight change to a menu item I can only expect those changes to be made about 20% of the time and it's about a 50/50 chance I even get what I ordered at all and it's something different entirely. And overall I rarely feel welcome and the service just is not very friendly like they hope you don't come back. I could go on but this is already too long and I'm sure you get the idea. Go here if you want large portion sizes of low quality food that you can make up to 3 meals out of that you won't enjoy very much.

I reviewed this place 3 years ago and gave you guys a raving review. Last night was very disappointing. I've been trying to figure out my calculator and sales tax because I think I was overcharged. And when I gave them the money they shorted me 4 cents. It's my decision if I want to give them a 4 cent tip. Got home thinking does queso birria was so good I would probably just let it go and forget about the money. But to my dismay it wasn't even close to how it was last month. I tried calling as I was driving home and someone did pick up but, when I asked them why I couldn't get my 4 cents they hung up. If you folks are charging for sauces now that's fine but at least let the customer know. I have a really bad taste in my mouth now . I won't be coming back here . I'll go the extra 5 miles to go to the Syracuse/Clearfield one.

Do not order here my food was not done my meat was red and the sour cream was bad . Talked to the cashier about the order and he hung upin my face ...worst ever...

I haven’t been here for two years because it’s so awful. I tried to go again and they’re not even open at 8 AM when they’re supposed to be open 24 hours but it’s probably a good thing they’re closed because I stopped coming here because something was always wrong with it either the pico or guac was spoiled, or the meat was burnt, and they act like the salsa comes out of their own pocket.
