When I went to the restaurant, I was welcome with a big smile and although I don't speak Austrian, the staff was super friendly and gave me many recommendations what I should order. Apart from the amazing food and friendly staff, the restaurant has an extraordinary view that they will never forget. fresh air and a beautiful scenery of the pillersee. the rest you can never find in a big city. I would recommend visiting the restaurant and discover this amazing experience for yourself.
We visited this place a couple of days ago, as we had passed a few times and though it looked absolutely beautiful as its in a lovely location. Unfortunately the service was very far from lovely or beautiful. We were not made to feel welcome...at all, we were dealt with VERY off handedly by the waiter and I use the term very loosely indeed. Asked for a menu in English and were told very rudely that there wasn 't one but its all good . Ok, no problem, I can struggle through the menu enough to decide what 's what. Then asked if I can pay by credit card, only to get a smirk and told no they don 't accept them. Made to feel very small and unwelcome. I really do not like to slate anywhere, but, needless to say, we will not be returning if the opportunity ever arises and would definitely warn anyone off the place as well.
