We opted for the smaller portion menu, which was perfect for lunch. However, we were disappointed that we were charged £3.70 for two soda waters. It seems excessive to charge such a high price for a drink that costs just a few pence to produce, especially when many other restaurants offer it for free.
Booked for Sunday evening. Staff were fantastic and food was great. Great value for money as well. Would DEFINITELY recommend
We went for my dads birthday tea. Great choice on the menu, from the normal steak pie etc to a whole Thai menu. Everything was very tasty and this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
My husband and I had been wanting to try this pub for a long time and went yesterday for lunch (Saturday) excited to try the menu and to enjoy sitting in the beer garden. Unfortunately, when my husband tried to order a beer from the taps at the bar, there were only lager or cider available, neither of which he drinks. They did not have any real ale, 80 shilling, or even Guinness. So we ended up leaving. My suggestion would be to not visit this pub unless you do not drink alcohol.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. We decided to eat in the bar area because we had our dog with us. We opted for the 2 course meal option priced at £17. I chose the Thai Green Chicken curry with sticky rice, followed by a delicious strawberry cheesecake with ice cream for dessert. My husband enjoyed the roast beef with all the trimmings and started with the pate and crackers. The portions were generous and the meals were beautifully presented, with fruit and vegetables cut into decorative flower shapes. We highly recommend this restaurant for its amazing food and friendly service.
