The rice was a nice complement to offset the kick. 1/2 lb beef brisket has a good ratio of meat vs fat and can be cut with a fork and spoon. The slider buns weren 't impressive and sort of bland. They gave a sweet and spicy sauce to eat with it and both were interesting and delicious. The gumbo had a hint of bitterness that was surprising but great otherwise. Ambience: 4/5 small cozy shop with some musical decorations. Definitely has seen some traffic based on the worn down marks on the floor Service: 5/5 quick and to the point Value for price: 5/5 would definitely come again if we 're in Flagstaff!
Extremely good BBQ! Hands-down Superb! Don't come to Flagstaff without trying this place! Quaint place with a relaxing patio and views of the nearby mountains! Beautiful mural artwork on the patio, otherwise it's nothing fancy but doesn't need to be Their BBQ is Exceptional
This place is no joke. Gumbo as good as anywhere in the country… po boys were on point… I got the comfort food so I can’t speak on the BBQ but I’d bet dollars against donuts it’s good too.
Eating was fantastic, we have it incredibly fast, personal was friendly, this place is great. 1/2lbs brisket, two sides, and a court of mac and cheese came to about $50 and was the perfect amount for three hungry youngs. it is worth looking for cash, I could not be happier with our visit.
Mac and cheese was very hard brisket slices baked, so thin it was dry the taste was about 6/10 they forgot my baked beans and Bbq sauce really! the cats and the zips were really good, they were freshly roasted. first time in flagstaff last time in satchmos?paid $53 unhappy?.tell satchmo to memphis kentucky and chicago go and learn how to cook real bbq even the franchise?s thickys bbq has hit this place! they can pay much less for a great experience???.geiling and bbq is an art that doesn't believe me!
