The Horsemen Lodge Steakhouse

We went back three days in a row. Soup and salad bar was great. The articles were unique. The staff was friendly and our dinners were great. Had the cattle ribs and the Mac and the cheese in the first night, Elk chops the second and Bison zartloin the 3. Different soup every day. The most beautiful thing about their restaurant is that they have unique items on their menu. You can be expensive if you were on a budget like my wife and I were but if you were the duck, you can upgrade to a second soup and salad bar for a few more dollars. In this way, we were able to enjoy more expensive meals together and leave with full stomach. If we're in Arizona next time, we'll definitely be back.

Loved this little house of the home town of Steak! Ends up here when the Arizona Steakhouse in the Grand Canyon 't have steak available at noon, that was just out of the way on my return to the hotel. The place looks like a movie. Interesting decoration, stuffed bear, cougar and others. All wooden walls and interior accents. Tribal table clothes. I had the Sirloin with black peppermint coating, and some amazing but simple cowboy beans that tasted like a homemade wicy bbq. Also the rider had Punsch and was pleasantly satisfied! Very simple presentation of the food gave him a late 1800- early 1900's look. Would you recommend to give this place an attempt!!

It is easy to spend an extra night in Flagstaff when this restaurant is sooo good! So, I'll call the morning before Easter to confirm they're open from Phoenix... We'll come to dinner there and go in, and I understand why I love this restaurant. Tens of thousands of dollars in Western art, western figures, as you are in... beautifully appointed filled bears, mountain lions and various thieves are hanging... beautiful knotty jaw tongue and groove and incredible chandeliers, with the fan directly in brilliant every time I am here, I just love it! Okay, sit on me this time and are greeted by another smiling face, her name, Jaime Western has rested, very beautiful smile and any question I ask, she's up on it... Tomatoes Bisque soup I don't really have a fan of. So I order this mushroom, Swiss and avocado burger and start with some bread and sweet butter the butter is not too sweet, but very nice. Then I go to the salad and the soup bar, and there are several creations on the back that are soooo good and delicious. And the tomato bisque I'm not really in...IT IS AMAZING... and really good! Pretty soon my burger arrives and I am not again the normal one or two slices of avocado, but, FOUR slices... and with mushrooms I am thrilled... to finish my soup, and order more bread at the same time, I read about a person who spent $40 on a buffalo castle... I think of myself, I could pay forty dollars for all that grateful, everything was under twenty! So I kneel deep in my burger and we're in the restaurant and ran business 650 miles north and comes Jaime... all smile again... WOW, I love this place!!! So, I'm done, I'm ready to float away, and start worrying about how much time I take, because all the tables are full... and it never comes... just Jaime, all the smiles, reviewing me. Finally, I use the facilities and also see very nice there!... All in all, every time I'm here, whether alone, or with the family unit, I have a great time... and every time, I think, yp, time to pack a room and come to breakfast the next morning before I return to Colorado her guys, Awesome, just incredible every time!!!

I can't go wrong here. Bands are the best. The smoked salmon is a murderer. Very historical and the food smells great and tastes even better. a must to eat here; Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Fabulous establishment! Stopped here for dinner on our drive back towards Pheonix after a 6day adventure in the Grand Canyon. We were greeted by employees on their horses, who guided us to a parking spot. The soup and salad bar was delicious with a wide variety of toppings much more than your basic salad bar! Soups available were shrimp bisque and sweet potatoe with ham- both unique and tasty. The steak was cooked to perfection and employees were warm and welcoming to ensure we had the best experience. Highly recommended whether you're new to the area or just driving through like we were!
