Flobama - Florence

Update: We were welcomed back and the experience was so much better this time. We had an amazing waitress named Tessa. She was sweet, kind, and very attentive. It got slightly busy while we were there. And still received better service then the first time. Again, the food was amazing and we even had a few drinks that were delicious as well. Definitely a better experience the second time. Would highly recommend and Tessa was great. The food was absolutely delicious , but the service was horrible. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or what but it didn't start getting super busy until we were trying to leave. We had to ask the hostess to get our waitress, I had to ask for a refill after probably over 10 minutes of waiting for her. We had to ask the hostess again for our waitress so we could get our checks. Then my friend had to basically shove her card and check at the waitress to take it so we could leave. She looked like she was about to get an attitude and say something to us. We wanted more drinks but couldn't even get regular service, so we weren't gonna stay for more drinks to not be waited on. Not sure if I'll be back not a great first impression. We also had friends that went later and they even said the waitress she had was rude and completely ignored one of their friends.

Other bars were too full during happy hour so I should have been suspicious when I walked in here and there were only two people sitting at the bar. There was an odd smell throughout, the bar was sticky, the bartender spent most of the time talking to other staff, and the draft beer tasted off. Decided to leave and get food elsewhere.

We arrived at lunchtime and was the only two in the place. The decor was very nice and I could tell it was more of a night spot than a restaurant you visit during the week day and or lunch. The smoked chicken was very very dark and dry and the mustard slaw was uneatable . The one and only waitress came over to check on our satisfaction and literally seconds after told her the slaw was bitter she replied that’s the way it’s made and turned around and walked away! Bamb!!! Never to return until she brought the bill! Apparently she was more interested in the two young men ?cooks? , who were sitting over at the far end of the bar near the stage. This was a one and done!!! The Mexican cantina across the street was very very busy! So we’re going there next time. BUT if you really want to see a cool nice stage, go to FLOBAMA at night , get drunk and then maybe the food will be tasty!! Or you could just look in the window and you’ll feel much better!!

First time trying and I wasn’t disappointed!! When I say that cowboy burger is GOOD it’s good. Wings 8/10 could’ve cooked longer but they were still good. Will try again 10/10 overall experience.

First time I was there I had the best wings ever I got back finally this morning to get more of those fantastic wings well I got some of the most terrible wings iv ever had and on top of that the waitress who was trying to pretending she was a man.... just wanted to laugh in my face and says can't do anything bout it they came out the smoker. Well it must of put the wings in the smoker from last night to warm them up or something but she was terrible and so were the wings I will not be back
