Lulu's - Florida Panhandle

Nice family restaurant. There is a gift shop and a great view of the water. Open concept restaurant, it was hot there because no AC, but there were many fans and fortunately a beautiful breeze. The staff looked hot and exhausted, but made a great job. There was live music that was great! It was too hot to order everything hard, so I went with the Shrimp Tacos and Tortilla chips. My tacos were just fine, it seemed like something was missing, I added the hot sauce of Lulu and Salsa to help. My friend got the Greek shrimp salad they enjoyed. I would come back, but in any case on a cooler day, possibly early spring or late autumn.

Very funny atmosphere, delicious drinks and good food. We rented a pontoon from Okaloosa Island and spent the morning on Crab Island and then brought the boat to Lulu for lunch, we could go directly into the water and go to the sand of Lulu's and to the restaurant. We arrived at 12:45 and it took about 30 minutes to get a table, it was the lunch break, but they didn't look so busy. The children loved the sand and the fountain of the youth, but there is not much shade, so we usually stayed in the restaurant. The gift shop is very funny and we all bought something. The food was above average, but something overpriced for what you get. The Crab melt is shown. Cocktails are about $10, but very good. We would definitely go back and recommend everyone else.

Very good food, absolutely loved everything! The atmosphere and food made it worth the price of food, I understand that everything is overpriced in Destin, but I was at other chain places around Destin and the food was terrible. Family and I loved all our food, the roasted green tomatoes were amazing, fresh, crispy and very hot. If 100% will be back here if you consider checking it, I would definitely recommend.

The service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great. There is a small arcade to pass the time for children. They had an area outside in the sand with corn hole boards to play. The fried green tomatoes are excellent, my wife had the grilled Jumbo shrimps and she said it was very good and she would get it again. I had the fried Snapper and it was excellent. My son decided he was going with the Mac and cheese and eating it. He's not a big eater, so it was more than enough for him.

Good vibes and great music! Lulu’s is a true family friendly gem in Destin. Our 30-minute wait for a table sped by with a visit to the arcade and beach-front activities. Once we were at our table, service was prompt and friendly. We recommend the gumbo, smoked tuna, and the fresh catch of the day was amazing. Really, everything we ordered was excellent. Our kids really enjoyed dancing to the live music. Lulu’s atmosphere and food is truly worth the wait!
