Dinner for 8 on a Friday night in Fly Creek. Folks running this place were friendly and a pleasure to chat with. All of the food we had was good. I enjoyed the fish fry, not greasy at all. Everyone else had burgers and they were cooked perfectly and the combos were good. The greens appetizer was tasty and big. Will be returning.
I love it when a teacher opens a restaurant, runs it herself and shows the world who is boss with her cooking talents. This is a relatively new place in a Cooperstown hamlet. I stopped in on a quiet day. The Bistro 6208 is a throw back to pre-internet good old fashioned decor with Americana cuisine. I had a basic BLT with chips a can of soda. For $5.99 it was a great sandwich at an amazing price. Entire teams w/families would love it. Plenty of parking and lots of space to fill the tables. If you have an event, it was quiet and private. The menu is online. Burgers, etc. I think the Burger FF choice was a solid $10, but also very generous. I hope she makes it. It's nice to have a great just 3 miles out of town place to enjoy a meal. I'll post pics too. There are a LOT of choices for a small town, but as a local, we always cheer for the small business owners who are competing for bigger places or well known places.
I do recommend this little restaurant! It’s a very nice place to stop for lunch or dinner and the owner is a very nice person. The food is priced just right. The decor is adorable.
Fresh and delicious food. reasonable prices too! The Friday night fish fry is very popular.
