Firehouse Subs Foley

Firehouse Subs is hands down the best sub shop in Foley. There's simply no competition. The staff is always extremely friendly, and I enjoy visiting whenever I get the chance!

I arrive at 6:15pm at firehouse. Always came to firehouse never had any problems. The general manager Tammy asked me who I was buying the food for and I said my girl. Then she told me that she should?ve spit in my girls food. There was 2 witnesses Suzy and keondrey. Also on another note my girl is currently pregnant. Sounds like firehouse needs a new general manager.

In a word: FILTHY. The front door should have tipped me off. Floors were strewn with trash and foot prints on the dirty tile. Counters were dirty with specks of sauces and fingerprints. I get it, people get busy during rush but this was 2:00PM on a Wednesday. People were standing around and should have been pushing a broom and mop...

As soon as you enter, you are warmly welcomed by the staff. The decor is, of course, inspired by a fire department theme, featuring red tables and chairs set against a classic black-and-white checkered floor reminiscent of the 1950s. The prep area resembles a taller fountain bar, adorned with firehouse memorabilia, photos, and a delightful mural that enhances the overall atmosphere. The menu is well-organized and easy to navigate. All subs are served hot and are available in small, medium, and large sizes. The rolls are incredibly soft and can be chosen in either white or wheat. There are also additional toppings to customize your meal. I tried the meatball sub, which was large and absolutely delicious. The sauce was sweet without being overwhelmed by the taste of oregano. However, our steak and cheese sub arrived… well, without the cheese! It seems there was a mix-up, but the flavor of the steak made this oversight less significant. Overall, it’s definitely worth stopping by to enjoy!

I absolutely love the Engineer! The food is always fantastic. However, I wish they would bring back the Pastrami Reuben—it was the best!
