Le Jardin des Roches - Fondettes

Our food was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Excellent wine selection. Good, attentive service. Highly recommended!

We were recommended Le Jardin and it didn't disappoint. The evening we went was fine so we sat on the decking next to a little enclosed area with a few hens and ducks, and the boss provided some stale bread for little children to feed...them. (none of us then ate duck! Delicious and nicely presented starters including a prawn and avocado burger'. My son had his first steak tartare about which he raved for the remainder of the holiday, and my fish with a delicious wine sauce and rice tasted great. A novel touch to a delicious creme brûlée was a violet ice cream. It didn't do it for me, but other diners enjoyed it. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely, a mix of families and couples and thoroughly enjoyable.

Our family had an outstanding meal here in July. Service was top notch, the owners even gave us free tickets to a castle tour after they let us stumble with us speaking French. The food was amazing. You will not be disappointed to travel a...bit further out of Tours to find this place.

We visited Le Jardin des Roches for lunch when visiting Tours during a recent Loire Valley holiday. e had reserved in advance but lunch time mid week was quite quiet. we were pleasantly welcomed by owner and staff. There is a garden area at the...back with pond and special breed chickens and ducks on the wander but, as it was a little cool for August, we sat in the pleasant interior. Food was excellent, reasonably priced for quality offered, and served pleasantly and efficiently. We would be happy to return.

Fantastic restaurant in the Loire region of France, fantastic food, expertly cooked and presented. The surroundings are both unique and inviting. The front of house staff were both welcoming and accommodating and really made us feel very welcome. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
