Shanghai Express - Fontenay-sous-Bois

I was looking for a pleasant dinner prior to retiring for the night and came across this restaurant. Chinese was appealing. I ordered from the counter, where your dinner options were sold by weight. I told the 'waiter ' that I would be dining in, rather than taking the food away. I sat down, and moments later he arrived with my order. It was a take away/ dine in compromise (see photo). I do not believe I have ever been presented with my order in this way. Nevertheless, the foo d was tasty, but i do believe that the Shanghai Express has a little way to go before getting its first Michelin star.

I hope they're not closing permanently, it's closed tonight but the note on the blind has disappeared so we don't know why it's closed. In any case it's not expensive and really decent on the Chinese and Japanese side, it's great! They are very nice and it is always well served except perhaps in terms of the quantities on the Chinese side in fact we would like to be served more generously.
