I don 't know if it was an off night or the batch was old/whatever but I 've NEVER had sauce this sugary and it detracted from the otherwise EXCELLENT crust, and cheese, ratio of cheese/sauce was perfect. This was my first time trying this Pizzeria and I 'd keep going, EVEN if the sauce is ALWAYS as sweet as it is, because they have EVERYTHING else PERFECT.I hope it was an off night or something but even if it isn 't it didn 't 'ruin ' the pizza, not at all. And I 've had pizza from real pizzeria 's that know how to make an Italian Pizza and SO many others in between most have bad crust/cheese or use old pies to fill orders. There were a few that were a little too sweet but failed on everything else, Ranchito 's ONLY 'failure ' was a sauce that was too sweet and not so sweet it ruined the pie.
Excellent pizza. Way above average. Ranchito’s has a sweet sauce that is very reminiscent of the now permanently closed South River classic, Coffaros. In terms of flavor, this is the closest thing to Coffaros that I’ve found. Which is huge. Krispy ain’t got nothing on this. Ranchitos is my new go-to spot.
Staff are always friendly. The portions are huge and the prices are great. The pasta dishes are my favorite.
I love this restaurant! Great variety on the menu, great prices, and food is delish
Pizza is good, the slices are huge. Sausage on pizza tasted a little cheap, and if the owners are reading this... PLEASE don't use shredded lettuce on burgers.
