New London Steak House - Forest

A traditional steak house with other good entrees on the menu as well. it begins with a large salatable with fresh and appetitious decisions. the baked potato was perfect and the steak was great. we ordered 8 unzen and 6 unzen filets to the indefinite “market price” and could not believe how good and cheap they were. the service was good, although they seemed like everyone, something understated. we live on the Forgebergsee, so it was a small trip, but it is a very pleasant journey that quickly happens. we will make the definitiw a regular place.

This long-term family-run restaurant offers rural views, pleasant restaurants in free and friendly attentive service! we enjoyed every meal here and especially like the melt in their mouth hot evening meal, which were more like a buttery croissant in taste. delicious! the salatbar offered a beautiful selection of mixed field green and veggie tips with several dressings and vinegar/oil options. it was so beautiful that I ordered the salatable as my meal. another person on our table loved the crispy coconut crusted garnels with unique orange jam dimmer sauce. the sweet tee is so good! a very nice place to dive and a ride worth it! it was even early at a weekday full! call for a reservation.

Awesome food and cozy atmosphere. Their dinner rolls are otherworldly. Very friendly staff and we can’t wait to return. It’s an hour away from us but WELL worth the trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

My sister, nephew and his wife with two of us…We ordered crab stuffed mushrooms..fake crab meat. I order a 12 Oz ribeye that my girlfriend and I shared…there was more gristle and fat than edible meat.. my sister ordered a filet.. just as horrible.. never had a filet with gristle…nephew and wife had the large filet.. no difference… Salad bar was excellent, Bread ? rolls even better.. I am totally disappointed as I know this is not their norm… I have Engineers coming in from DOL, Washington and this was going to be my treat… no way now.. can’t risk it.. I have been bragging about the place for 6 months with them…I guess we’ll have to take “Bulls”.. cannot express my dismay..
