Had Sunday lunch at this restaurant. Venue is huge with high ceiling. I love the wall painting that reminds me the trip to Ha Loong Bay. Ordered the Special Beef Noodle Soup, DIY Pork Ball Rice Vermicelli Wrap and Deep Fried Pork Large Intestine. Portions are generous but the pork balls could be much better if they were grilled instead of deep-fried. Hero should be the Pork Intestine, where the skin is so crispy with shallots inserted in the middle increasing the taste and moisture texture, thumb-up!If you go there, please do not forget to order the Vietnamese iced coffee (I had the Iced Black Coffee), which is so strong and d...good!
This restaurant is amazing, with delicious food at a reasonable price. I was impressed by their wide variety of menu options, making it difficult to choose. Both the Chinese and Vietnamese dishes were outstanding. I can't wait to dine here again in the future.
Whenever I end up having Vietnamese food anywhere other than here, I always wish I put the effort in to drive out to Darra for Que Huong. Not that I have ever been to Vietnam, the food tastes authentic and never fails to deliver. The service is prompt, but don 't be afraid to wave your arm around for attention. The other factor that draws me to this restaurant is the outrageously tacky and amusing decor that always leaves me asking questions about what goes on after the 'restaurant ' closes...
One of the better Vietnamese/Chinese restaurants around Brisbane, this one is particularly popular with the local Vietnamese community for functions due to its size. The decor is basic and it's located next to the Darra railway station. <br/ <br/ The food is generally delicious my picks are the steamed ginger shallot oysters and sweet chilli oysters (get a dozen with half/half), combination hor fun noodles, salt pepper quail, combination steam boat, crispy skin chicken and salt pepper calarmari (this can be hit and miss). Que Huong is well known for its chilli crab but I've only had the salt pepper crab which is great (obviously I love anything salt pepper! Haha). <br/ <br/ Tips the orange juice is freshly squeezed and so good! There's a small car park for the restaurant to the left, as well as parking in front.
