As I stood outside looking at the menu, the cook came to the door and inquired if I was searching for something to eat. Although the restaurant was closed, he offered to whip me up a meal to-go. I ended up ordering the ginger beef with steamed vegetables and rice, which turned out to be quite delicious. I would definitely return for another meal at Johnnies.
This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. The chef is also the owner, so the meals are top-notch. I highly recommend trying the wonton soup with added pork, it's my favorite. I eat there regularly.
I think they extended their closing time just to accommodate us. The food was deliciously prepared, especially the pineapple chicken which was incredibly tender and just melted in your mouth.
I believe that they stayed open an extra hour just to serve us. The dishes were excellently prepared - the pineapple chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender.
Ordered salt and pepper BBQ ribs, sweet and sour pineapple chicken and pork fried rice medium heat. Wow what a great meal we absolutely loved these dishes. A bit hotter spicer than expected but no complaints here. Restaurant is clean and tidy with booth and regular seating options. Good timely service. Highly recommend.
