Sanibel Bean has more than books to offer, not that is anything bad with that! They also sells souvenirs, t-shirts, a bit of everything. So, if you forgot to get something for a friend or family, now is your last chance. They have snacks to purchase, drinks and sandwhiches, pre-packed, but OK looking, turkey with pesto, ham and cheese, decent options, lines are small here and move fast. Fun store to browse while you are waiting for your flight!
I did not appreciate the poor customer service at this market. Unfriendly help. The company may want to retrain these people to be less rude to patrons.
I was flying out at 630 amStopped by this shop for a juice and myself and the other customers were greeted with much disrespect from the employee. She was yelling from the corner to use the self check out if you were paying by card, stated to me she was to busy to cash me out and as I paid she rudely was unable to take my cash due to a lack of change!!I am sure the sales report on her shift confirms her attitude and performance may need an adjustmentThanks for the Florida send off !!!
Just like Hudson News in other airports Books Sanibel Bean sells full price books and magazines as well as tchotchkes, snacks, headphones, etc...pretty much anything you would need in an airport. Places like this suck me in every time I fly and I actually hate when I have to buy something here. If I do it means I didn't prepare properly. When I fly, I bring reading materials with me...books, magazines, articles, etc, so I DON'T have to buy anything, yet I got sucked in again and bought a magazine I didn't need and a newspaper to kep me busy. All because our flight wqs delayed. What the hell is wrong with me? Do yourself a favor, save some money and buy your books and magazines some place where they can be discounted and bring snacks with you so you don't overspend here. The woman working here was SUPER nice (which I found odd since most airport employees are kind of annoyed at our mere presence) and engaged me in a little chit chat...that was when I threw the newspaper onto the counter. Dammit-somehow I got suckered into spending MORE money. Oh well. If you're in a pinch and need something to read or a last minute gift-they offer lots of options.
