If you forgot to grab something for a friend or family member, now's your chance. They have snacks, drinks, and pre-packaged sandwiches like turkey with pesto and ham and cheese. The options are decent, and the lines are short and move quickly. It's a fun store to browse while you wait for your flight!
I was disappointed with the customer service at this market. The staff seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. I would recommend the management consider retraining the employees to ensure they treat customers with more kindness and respect.
I had an early flight at 6:30 AM and stopped by this shop to grab a juice. Unfortunately, both I and the other customers were met with a lot of disrespect from the employee. She was shouting from across the room, instructing us to use the self-checkout if we were paying by card. When I approached her to pay, she rudely informed me that she was too busy to help me. Additionally, when I tried to pay with cash, she couldn't accept it because she didn't have enough change! I'm quite sure that her shift's sales report would reflect her attitude and performance, which might need some improvement. Thanks for the send-off, Florida!
To save some cash, I recommend purchasing your books and magazines elsewhere, preferably at a discount, and bringing your own snacks to avoid overspending here. On a positive note, the woman working at the store was exceptionally nice, which was surprising since most airport employees seem somewhat annoyed by travelers. She even chatted with me while I begrudgingly placed the newspaper on the counter. Ugh, somehow I ended up spending more money again! Anyway, if you find yourself in a bind and need something to read or a last-minute gift, they do have a good selection.
The employee at gate D on Saturday afternoon was possibly the most unfriendly person I've ever come across. It's truly hard to believe. While I understand that staff shortages can be tough, surely there's a teenager out there who would be a better choice than this woman, who appeared more like a statue than a person.
