As the name already says, it's more or less roadside we drove along the main loop with Google cards open when we were suddenly instructed to turn right into our goal. We saw the smoker in front and knew we were in the right place! On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly older gentleman who asked us if it was our first time. We confirmed that it was and he gave us a helpful, deep explanation of all their offers, as well as their philosophy on locally grown ingredients. Fiancé got ribs, I got a pulled pork sandwich with macaroni and cheese, Fiancé's sister got the Mac and cheese meal with pulled pork up, and her husband also got the pulled pork sandwich meal with raccoon, if I remember correctly. Fiancé and I also shared one side of the green chili, as none of us ever had and wanted to try. Overall, the bbq was good. My eating companions liked it more than me, but I'm a good bit picky than they are when it comes to 'que. I would describe the pulled pig as closer to lumped pork, which is not my preference. The pieces were large, square shaped and stacked on the sandwich beer. The meat itself was tender and tasteful, although the bungalow 't stood on it and the sauce super good, so I wound up eating it with a fork. Fiancé and his family all said they were very happy with their meals. I tried a bite of his ribs and found them tasteful, even a little gum. The sweet and tangy bbq had a decent taste, but was a little thin for my taste. Neither of us were super enthusiastic about the green chili, but I guess it was more just not on our palate, instead it was something wrong with the court. It is unique, full of meat and vegetables, very thick with a friendly kick. I'd be interested to know what people are more familiar with the court about this version. For me the best was by far the macaroni and cheese. Perfectly cooked noodles, creamy, complex cheese sauce and a perfectly dimensioned part with a grated cheese on top to add texture. If I visited again, I would definitely reorder it!
This is an absolutely fantastic setup. The staff were extremely friendly and the Entrées cultivated a culinary experience so revolutionary that my soul left my body for an unknown time. This restaurant has constantly printed on my memory and has delighted me beyond the measure. Recommend a visit, no matter where you are.
Stopd on holiday. Everyone was friendly and the place was nice. We ordered two meals for the families. Unfortunately, the portions seemed to be worth the price. Everything had a sharp kick. You may be in heaven. I wish there were more descriptions about the pages I have little children, and if I had not tried the beans we had, they are super sharp together with Koleslaw. Ribs were okay, but again I thought we should be more based on the order of a whole record.
That was one of the best remnants I ever had. The staff was so nice and the food was absolutely delicious. I really don't remember the last time I grilled so well. 100/10. I will come back
This was one of the highlights of our trip across the state border to AL because it 's what I would define as 'elevated BBQ '. From the moment we walked in, Greg greeted us with a big smile and went through the menu for us and helped seat our big group. Before we even ordered, he brought us a sample of the warm German potato salad that was his mother 's recipe and also let us sample the coleslaw with the grilled shrimp. We ordered the family pack of brisket and pork and got the potato salad, coleslaw, and the brussels sprout hash for our sides. The buns for the bbq was grilled and warm to make sandwiches. The side dishes are what really makes Roadside Que stand out.
