Marsha's Great Plains Deli - Fort Scott

Amazing food! You'll never be hungry! And your wallet will be full.

A friend recommended Marsha's Great Plains Deli when I inquired a good, affordable place for lunch for a busload of primary school children. We took a field trip to Fort Scott and were on a limited budget with limited time. I called Marsha's and got a lot on a bag of lunch with a sandwich, chips and a cookie for each of us. The sandwiches were man size with a wealth of meat (shrink or turkey), salad and tomatoes. They were also quite delicious! We brought some water and we were good to go. An additional bonus marsha has delivered lunch to the place we visited at the specified time. It was the most satisfying and simplest food situation I have ever experienced on a field trip!

Absolutely amazing. When I went to college, my friends and I would eat here every day. A small is enough to eat the average person and possibly a little left over without sides. the medium usually holds me 2 meals and I would consider myself a heavy meal. You'll feel like you paid too much when you eat here. In view of their service, I find it surprising that the subways are still open just above the road. Marsha's just so good. Even if you like sauerkraut, the upper notch is. Every time I want a sandwich, I always think Marsha. The one thing I would say I'm not a fan of is they take no card, but this is easy to get.<br/ <br/ Thanks Marsha for all the years of amazing sandwiches.

This is my lunch stop whenever I pass through Fort Scott. I 've dined here several times and I almost always miss it the first time I drive by. It 's an odd little place. There is hardly any room to stand in line or sit down but there is plenty to look at while you wait. Including a menu with more sandwiches than you can 'shake a stick at ' to dabble in local colloquialism. <br/ <br/ Freshly made to order perfect deli sandwiches. They come in four sizes: small, medium, large and picnic. Most folks order the small I got a medium once and it was 3 meals! I can only imagine a picnic size. <br/ <br/ Outstanding corned beef on rye. Seriously, don 't miss the rye bread. Pickles are also notably good.

Marsha's Great Plains Deli is excellent! It is everything I have ever wanted in a deli, makes great sandwiches, salads, soups and offers great sides plus great sweet treats like cookies and cheesecake. I recommend Marsha's Great Plains Deli for a great alternative to Subway which is lacking in ingredients. They deliver from 10:00am to 2:00pm
