The menu features Cajun Louisiana cuisine, but I found it confusing because the restaurant itself didn't have a Cajun vibe. What I ordered was good—things like pickles and quesadillas—but the sweet tea tasted overly artificial, which was a turn-off for me. Watching the bartender mix drinks was a bit cringeworthy; I noticed she was heavy-handed with her pours, leading to watered-down cocktails. If she's not properly trained, that's a reflection of the owner and manager's oversight. When I asked others about their drinks, they confirmed they were indeed watered down. The overall experience felt like a sports bar, but the food didn’t quite match that vibe. I rated it 4 stars primarily because the Cajun food was delicious. However, I believe the decor should lean more toward a Louisiana or southern summer theme, rather than reflecting northern Arkansas. Despite my critiques, the food was fantastic!
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, enjoying the food, drinks, and overall atmosphere. The gumbo, which featured duck, was so tasty that I regretted not ordering a bowl instead of just a cup. The grilled salmon was superb, and the fish tacos were wonderfully prepared. The fried seafood sampler was also excellent and left me feeling quite satisfied. However, I was a bit let down by the ribeye steak, which didn't meet my expectations. In contrast, the grilled shrimp was the highlight of the meal! Unfortunately, the steak lacked flavor and had a less than ideal texture, with more fat than meat. On the bright side, the cocktails were fantastic! I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit!
I absolutely love the spooky season Voodoo Shrimp and the **** Mary! This place is fantastic—delicious food, great drinks, excellent service, and plenty of TVs to enjoy. Pro tip: Be sure to ask them how to get FREE bread pudding!
I visited the restaurant on a busy evening and was warmly welcomed and seated promptly. Kiley was my server, and she had a friendly smile. I asked her about her favorite dish, and she recommended the grilled cheese with pork, which made me think the pulled pork must be really tasty. I decided to order the pulled pork sandwich along with waffle fries and a sweet tea. It was just the right meal to enjoy while watching a boxing match. Everything was served quickly, and despite being busy, Kiley consistently checked in on me. If I had had any room left, I definitely would have ordered dessert!
