Union Straw - Foxborough

I recently attended a show at the nearby Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Center and received an email from them recommending The Union Straw for a pre-show meal. I easily made a reservation through OpenTable and upon arrival, we were seated promptly. The restaurant has an open room layout with an open kitchen. Our server, Parker, greeted us warmly and took our drink order. The menu had a variety of handhelds and entrees to choose from. Although there were no entree specials that evening, my wife ordered the baked cod with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, while I went for the maple bourbon burger. Both dishes were delicious, with the burger cooked perfectly and the cod flavorful. Parker provided excellent service, ensuring we had everything we needed. We shared a baked tollhouse cookie with vanilla ice cream for dessert, and the manager even checked in to make sure we were satisfied. Additionally, attendees of events at the Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Center receive a 15% discount on their food bill. I highly recommend The Union Straw for a great dining experience. We had a wonderful time at Union Straw in downtown Foxboro! This popular spot was bustling when we visited, but we still enjoyed our meal. We loved the cheese curd and hummus platter starters, and my scallops were fresh and delicious. Our server, Kiera, was exceptional - she made sure our food and drinks were constantly replenished with a smile. The only downside was the noise level inside the charming building. We hope to return when we can dine outside and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. Union Straw is a must-visit in downtown Foxboro, and we can't wait to come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Parker was fantastic and consistently checked in to make sure our food and drinks were to our liking. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5.
