Opa! Modern Greek Cuisine - Frankfort

Unfortunately had a terrible experience here. Bad drinks, bad food, bad service for a big price. My friend, sister, and I all went to celebrate our birthdays here and wish we had gone somewhere else. The restaurant itself is cute but very bright! They give you bread to start, which was good. The server was friendly greeted us right away, but then was very inattentive after that. Drinks were very bad, especially the espresso martini. Like to the point where we couldn’t even drink them. The cucumber mint was much better. Server took a while to come take our appetizer order and then brought the wrong order. It was saganaki, we let her know we didn’t order it, but she let us keep it since it was already out. That was very good. We were going to order more appetizers but considering we had to keep flagging her down and then asked uS if we were going to order any food because they’ll be closing soon (mind you we arrived 1.5 hrs before close) we told her yes we’ve been waiting for her to come take our order, she says she had a thousand things going on. We should have left at this point but were hungry, we ordered lamb chops medium rare and they were extremely well done. Very dry and overcooked. We sent them back and when they brought them out again they were still overcooked and they didn’t add the potatoes that comes with it. These were very expensive so very disappointed. The fish was bland. Spent over $250 on a terrible birthday experience. We even let them know it was our birthdays and we didn’t even get a birthday treat. I tried reaching out to the restaurant, but no communication back from them.

Looking for a new place to eat in the area. This place was fantastic. I can be hard to please, will 100% be a repeat customer.

Food was very good! We each got an appetizer, main meal, and shared a dessert. All were very good. We each got kabobs for our main dishes, it came with rice potatoes. The dessert was delicious. The service was very good as well! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.

Authentic Greek cuisine.Food was amazing.Cool white lighting makes the atmosphere seem sterile. Suggest changing to warm white lighting.We will be back many times just for the food.

Disappointed that we received the wrong order and when I called they said they were too busy to take care of me. Asked for my name and number and said the manager would call me. That never happened!!
