Cafe Karin - Frankfurt am Main

We did not have reservation but it was possible to wait on the bar and enjoy the atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy as well.

This cafe was on a top rated list for Frankfurt and we happened to stumble across it whilst walking into the city. I wouldn't both searching for it. Service was average, food was fine but could have found something better. It suited the late morning...snack we needed after our early flight but we certainly didn't leave thinking it was great coffee and food.

Café Karin was perfect for me. Excellent value for money, very friendly staff and good location, a perfect combination.

Would I return? Definitely not. Number the waiters are not friendly in the slightest. My interaction with them was them telling me sit here and what do you want Also because of personal reasons, I prepare my tea in my own little way that...doesn't affect anyone. I placed the tea bag in my cup rather than the kettle of water and the waitress looked at me like I was an idiot and in a condescending attitude told me that the tea bag doesn't go in the cup. Thanks genius, so glad I had you to tell me that. But then, when you come to pay for your bill, they're super friendly because they want some tip. The food was just bread and cheese. Very plain menu. The weirdest part of this restaurant is that you can only pay by cash. No card. What restaurant doesn't allow you to pay by card?? Really, get with the time.
