Schwedlersee - Frankfurt am Main

The bar at the lake has opened again and recently a new, very nice guardian and hostess. The idyllic location has been part of the 1st Frankfurt Swim Association since the 1920s. Now the Kleinod at the Schwedler See, which is actually an old shut-off harbour pool, is again open daily except on Mondays. One reason to visit Frankfurt Idyll with a friend in the afternoon. After the bike tour we had the pleasure of coffee and a piece of cake. We were welcomed very kindly and also the good coffee and the cake have not disappointed us so that we can relax and enjoy the extraordinary ambience. The map has told us that you can eat very well here at noon and especially at night. Sure a good reason to spend a lasy summer evening in the cool bar on the lake!
