The Lynx at Wyndham Grand Frankfurt

Friendly staff and very modern setting. Complete bar. We had good correct food, the lunch is only 9.90 p.p

A somewhat strange restaurant that advertises mediteranean kitchen, but the only thing of the sorts on the menu are the foccasia starters. Service is slow, even on a slow night like tonight with perhaps 10-15 guests. Another odd thing is that redwine is a lot cheaper by the glass than if you buy a complete bottle (9,5€ for 0,2 vs 45€ for 0,75) but dont bother anyway they serve it at 25 degrees which is never an advantage....I ordered a dryaged filet steak: it was tasty and tender and cooked like ordered. It could however have used some seasoning. The truffle sauce was good, the rosmary potatoes crispy and the spinnach. well like boiled spinnach...But all in all I would probably go else where for dinner tomorrow!

The restaurant needs some help at breakfast. The scrambled eggs in the buffet have the look and consistency of bread crumbs. I asked the server if I could get a couple of fried eggs instead and I was told that they do not do any special breakfast orders. The hash browns are circular patties of sogginess. My stay was for 6 nights with breakfast included and was equally bad each day. On a positive note, both of the burgers are huge and tasty.

It's a cool and quiet place to visit after work or if you are visiting frankfurt...the food is good...drinks are good too...it's recommended.

A business dinner for three was well spent at The Lynx. There are plenty of different areas to be seated at, we were given free choice so occupied a large table coated in what appeared to be copper. Very cool, very modern setting. Now the food. Shared starter of foccacia and humus with sautéed veg was delicious. My main was a burger with chips, both tasty but the patty was a little well done for my liking (they didn't ask how I'd like the meat). Wine and beer options were decent. Food wise OK overall, the setting makes it a great place to unwind.
