Golden Age 烤乐居 - Frankfurt

The food here is authentic and delicious. The salt and pepper shrimp is the best that I've had in my life (my parents are Taiwanese and I grew up eating Asian food). Admittedly, the service can be a little slow as a family runs the restaurant, but the food is well worth the wait. The duck is also pretty damn good too. Of all the Chinese food restaurants that I've tried in Frankfurt, it's not even close... this restaurant is the best. It's tucked away in a residential area, and not really intuitive to find, a hidden gem if you will. In short, if you have time and want some authentic, flavorful Chinese food... come here. It's well worth the drive and the wait.

Lest start with the people who work there who are extremely nice and welcoming. Unfortunately they don't speak much English but it doesn't stop them from trying as much as they can.The food is wonderful... Spicy when it should be spicy and not when it shouldn't. Unfortunately they are closed on Mondays but you should all try them on the other days they are open.The restaurant is small and intimate which we loved!!!!
