In the middle of the residential area frankfurt- hausen is the villagekrug. we had expected to have a home restaurant, but found a large-scale locomotive with 3 not separated areas. the greeting was quite boring, but we were then led to a tusk. the service was nice, from warm hospitality, but far away. the menu is equipped with many types of diners, we have made ourselves for kartoffel soup 4 € 2 slices of broth were calculated with 1 € and French wobble soup decided as appetizer. the potato soup was a manageable and almost taste-neutral composition, no inlays and fragrant. the main course jägerschnitzel 11,80 € was very marginal. the 2 carvings were easy to stir and not completely roasted. the maxi pommes outside cross, but inside very hard. the younger was a slimy sauce without much taste, with the mushrooms all 3 guests had the impression that they were doses mushrooms. a sub-average eating so that they can find much better restorations in frankfurt. own parking free
I went there with a few of my co-workers trying to find some authentic German dishes. We were not dissapointed, but I got the impression not everything was fresh on that day.
If you're looking for a traditional Frankfurt diner this is a good choice. Classic local dishes mixed with international standard variations there's something for everyone.
I was here with my wife and we had a fantastic lunch with great service. Totally recommendable. They offer a great value for money lunch menu.
