1799 Kitchen And Cocktails - Franklin

We started with the oysters; they had andouille and other hearty pieces over the oysters. They were really tasty; but you'd never know an oyster was there. I had the Cornish game hen (with farrow and mushrooms); hubby had the Branzino (with shrimp and mussels). Both were delicious and plentiful. Beautiful interior; attentive service. Lovely evening.

The only saving grace was our amazing waiter. We didn't get food until an hour and a half after sitting down. The food wasn't quality of price and upscale expectation. Loved the staff, they were understanding and sympathetic.

The service is always great and this time our waiter was amazing. It was our 4th wedding anniversary. The food never disappoints here. It's never something I'm expecting and always something I didn't know I needed. Great again.

Decent food. Very expensive. One of our 5 oysters didn't even have an oyster in it. Great waitress though!

Was underwhelmed by our meal and service. When dining in downtown Franklin and at 1799 price point , was expecting a spectacular meal.
